It is strong and durable, and despite the plants prickly nature, the fibre is wonderfully soft! Nettle is a ‘weed’ grown perennially and, as most gardeners will tell you, abundantly in rainy environments worldwide. This means it can be grown without pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals, unlike other plant fibres, making it eco-friendly and sustainable.
